Just wondering what this means to you: "To big to fail?"
Dunno.. I just saw a T shirt with that on it..I wondered myself
Translation: We dont want to suffer the short term consequences. And we certainly dont want the failure to be associated with our party.
I've seen it in economics when describing a company.
For example, one may say that GM is too big to fail. By that, it means that GM is so big and has so much societal influence that society (or the government) will not allow it to fail, because were it to fail, the ramifications would be disastrous (according to some).
You'll also see it used to describe some big banks and financial institutions. Similar idea.
It means the government wants to control it going forward.
Pompous financial institutions.
It means, "I am an idiot financially, save me from myself with other peoples money."
Translation: I won't have a career without that PAC money.
It means they own you now, you, me, the politicians, the land. nobody paid any attention and the ones who pointed it out were called traitors so we could go back to our Leftwing/Rightwing debate aiding the enemy in the division.
