UC Berkley is on fire, by the students. Just like Kent State. Send in the Guard to control the campus. Cut the Federal funds.

So this is the students method of solving problems. Sounds like the curriculum needs an overhaul if it encourages student violence as a means of social communication.

Or, it's just a bunch of adolescents throwing another tantrum because they can't have their way. You can't have everything you want, and sometimes only a part of what you need.

“Violence, of course, is generally associated with frankly totalitarian forms of anti-political utopianism like Communism, but the Second World War shows that liberal universalists are as capable of violence as Communists. They are just less capable of honesty.” ― Greg Johnson

“SJWs... picture themselves as persecuted, oppressed crusaders for peace and equality....These are people who, on a regular basis, call for violence and genocide against “oppressors”, whether it’s white people, heterosexual people, thin people, or just anyone who even slightly disagrees with them.” ― Joshua Goldberg

Looks like Columbus after the Buckeyes lose or Athens Ohio on Halloween. Leave the idiots alone and take away the cameras and they will go back to smoking dope.

Well, they were threatened by an uninhibited gay guy with a flamboyant personality and an irrepressible gift of gab... Clearly, they had no other recourse than to respond with violence...

It will be over by the time they get everybody in the same place. Once Alameda county deputies get there it should be over soon. That is if they have been deballed by the new sheriff.

I think Trump's election shows that half the country has had it with the protesters and no tears will be shed if shots are fired. At Kent State, people thought the protesters were clueless kids. Now the adults in charge know the protesters are violent adults.

As much as the media spins it, half of the country is fed up with it.

Protesting in this country is out of hand. They've gone far beyond freedom of speech.
No one has a right to destroy property just because they're upset over a political or racial issue.

This crap needs to be stopped and stopped hard.
We used to shoot looters in this country.

We need armed intervention right now to restore law and order to this country.

I think that was the point i was headed towards.

Tucker Carlson pointed out UC Berkeley was the start of the free speech movement. Now they are trying to shut it down by protesting violently enough to cancel that visit.

Participating in a riot carries a very hefty sentence and a large fine. In an age where everybody carries a camera, I find it difficult to believe that they cannot catch many of the perpetrators and take them off the streets.

.......and any protester who voulentarily places themselves in harms way by standing in an open public roadway with the clear intent to obstruct traffic should be considered fodder for moving vehicles and retain fully both criminal and civil responsibility for any adverse outcome as a result of the willful action.

I didn't get the sense he was advocating shooting anyone by making that comparison. It's past time to take the gloves off if the situation warrants it. There's a lot of leeway between letting lefties destroy public property with impunity and shooting them.

This instance wouldn't even warrant having lethal ammunition. I could see a couple good whacks across the thigh with a night stick or getting pressed up against a brick wall like a gnat by a good guy with a shield.

    Patience my friends, patience.
