Paul Ryan is acting like every Democrat's wet dream. The massive budget he is shoving down America's throat is a wish list full of everything the Democrats could possibly want.

o He's giving $1.6 billion to resettle illegal aliens rather than deport them.

o He is fully funding Obama's illegal amnesty.

o He is fully funding Obamacare.

o He is fully funding Planned Parenthood and their baby cutting tactics.

o He is allowing Obama to bring in hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees.

o He is fully funding the EPA's program to shut down coal-fired power plants.

o He is going to add hundreds of billions of dollars to our national debt.

Ryan also went back on his promise to change the process and have spending bills be reviewed in committee, one at a time; this is the same fat huge omnibus budget made behind closed doors that almost no one had read or reviewed as in the John Boehner era.

It's time for Paul Ryan to go. Republican who ousted John Boehner should launch another motion to declare the speaker's chair vacant. But they're not.

    Paul Ryan: Democrats' beard

With enabling Republican chumps acting precisely with the fiscal abandon of Democrats, what's the difference? Who needs any of them?

In Paul Ryan's acceptance speech as new House speaker, he said: "But let's be frank: the House is broken. We are not solving problems. We are adding to them. And I am not interested in laying blame. We are not settling scores. We are wiping the slate clean." In light of his budget-busting deal, what has he done other than become the very problem he castigates?

No doubt, the average American had hoped that statement signaled new leadership, but what it has resulted in is predictable crybaby Boehner-like capitulation. Same as the former speaker's political expediency, another budget deal has been struck, with Democrats forestalling the threat of a government shutdown and debt default until September of 2017. At the time, Mr. Boehner claimed he was "cleaning the barn," but what has Mr. Ryan done other than step in it with both feet while simultaneously kicking the can down the road? The old Washington adage of "the more things change, the more they stay the same" is in full holiday display.

Mr. Ryan's Washington-insider "clean slate" double-speak was cheap political theater – lip service given and just as quickly forgotten. Likewise is his already tiresome clichéd excuses like "we played the cards that we were dealt with as best as we possibly could." Mumbling such platitudes, Mr. Ryan's floor-averted eyes and new, impressive peach fuzz lay bare what he is: a feckless political poser. He looks like an errant teenager caught speeding and wrecking the American public's new Porsche. That Porsche is our faith, dashed once again, in our elected representatives to act like responsible adults with the country's purse strings.

May the farce be with you

As millions await the the latest Star Wars movie, the House Republicans have released their show of farce. What had been hoped for as a show of force under new House leadership was to be a reining in of out-of-control spending, regulatory agencies gone wild, crony capitalism, and amateurish response to terrorist threats and deeds on our shores. What the American public has gotten instead is an affirmation of French wisdom: “plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose,” or “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” Prime example is the current proposed omnibus spending bill.

We clamored for the replacement of teary-eyed Republican House leader John Boehner and his ineffectual opposition to President Obama’s progressive agenda. We got hipster-bearded Paul Ryan as the new leader, and his funding support of a big chunk of President Obama’s progressive agenda and Democratic dream legislation. The omnibus spending bill funds Obama’s wish list of regulatory diktats, including a “Green Climate Fund”; continues funding for the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change; and extends the wind and solar tax credits for another five years. Crony capitalism is funded via permanent extensions to the R&D tax credit for businesses, Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit, college tuition, and expense tax credits. Dodd-Frank survives revision. Mideast Immigration Programs survive modifications to correct security faults exposed by recent terrorist attacks on our soil. Unsustainable national debt increases are baked into the bill.

The Republican leadership, “a farce for change.”

Ryan and Bush both are making one last attempt to be noticed before they drop out.
They've seen the future and it's not them.

I think the party is on the verge of collapse, I can see the party splintering off and a new conservative party gaining ground because people are fed up with hearing give the Repub party a chance to come to their senses. Both parties use us to get elected then crawl into bed with big money and give us the finger

This is one of the reasons so many people have hope in Trump. Get rid of "politics as usual". Time to clean out Congress.
