O, someone complained about the lack of recipes lately, I made this one up on the spot. Never underestimate hunger, weird things in the fridge and Atkins diet! ;f Spicy Shrimp Salad Software: Any amount of frozen, tail off, peeled shrimp Olive Oil Chopped or crushed garlic Mayonaise (or salad dressing) Wasabe (premade in a little tube) Lettuce, leaf or butter bib, washed Hardware: Wok/frying pan Strainer Small bowl In wok or frying pan heat small quantity of olive oil. Add a fork or two of garlic, to taste (I used about 1 tblsp) and stir till browning Put in shrimp and stir fry until cooked through, you may have to add oil to be sure that they are cooking and not sticking/burning. While shrimp are cooking, take a couple of tblsps of mayo and put in a small bowl. Squirt in some Wasabe and blend. Taste and adjust to make spicier or whimpier, as needed. When shrimp are cooked, strain off oil. Put shrimp and cooked garlic in bowl then add your wasabe/mayo mixture to taste. I do not like a lot on mine, just thoroughly coated, YMMV. Toss hot shrimp, garlic and spicy mayo to coat then serve on bed of lettuce. Also good on sandwichs. Easy and tasty! The garlic and wasabe/mayo combo are YUMMY! Also, I found the 2nd time I made this that if I coooked the garlic until it was smoking it tasted even better, ymmv! Hope you enjoy!
