    After my terrible showing at Orlando GSSF this past weekend, I think I need to invest in a shot timer. I have narrowed it down to 2;

    Pact Club timer 3 or CED8000, (the game boy clone looking thingy.)

    I'm kinda leaning towards the CED8000 due to the headphone jack. I can dry fire in the garage and not have the wife n kids come out and wounder whats going on everytime it beeps.

    However, no one around here local knows anything about these things and I don't want to make a $150 mistake.

    So, anybody have an opinion on either of these, good or bad?

    Also, does anybody have a pdf of the manual that comes with the PACT timer? I have one for the CED8000 and would like to compare the 2.

    TIA

    For training I prefer the PACT mk IV. It has a lot of useful featuresd for practice.

    Matt- Thank you for your suggestion!!

    Do you have any idea where I can download the instructions for the MkIV.

    I would like to review them before I do anything.

    Try PACTs website or call them.

    Have had PACT's Club timer and MK IV for years.

    Always wind up using the 4 for training and the Club for Matches.

    The 4's buzzer is very loud but easy to tape off or muffle with the right foam, etc.

    Have a good number of PACT's other stuff and their lifetime no BS warranty is a major point, IME.
