    26, 27 or 33?
Tell me why you chose the one you did. I want the Baby Glock to carry. Just trying to decide on which one. :wavey:

    Thanks

Like I have read before, "The biggest caliber you can shoot efficiently"

I shot the 26 better then any small gun I have ever shot.

I chose the 26, so I could keep my ammunition consistent among several models (I have the 17, 19, and 26). I also liked the idea of being able to use the mags for the 17 and 19 with the 26. I'm not sure you can go wrong with any of your three possibile choices.

The 26 is easy to shoot, with a little (if any) more felt recoil than the larger frames.

I choose the 26 over the 27 for one reason. I had 450+ rounds of 9mm at home, and not one .40s&w.

However, now I have a good mix of both (over 1000 9mm, 7-800 .40), so I'd probably get the 27. Then I could swap barrels and shoot .357sig if I ever got the itch.

26 ammo is cheapest. 33 is basically a hot 26 with more expensive ammo. I've had all three, but I stick with .40 because that's what my issued weapon (22) is.

I would say to go with a 27. You can convert it to a 33 or a 26 with a new few parts.

I have the G26 and the G27 because the 9mm and .40 are great SD rounds. I wouldn't mind having the G33 too. I like the .357 Sig alot. You can't go wrong with any of them. This will make some GAPpers have a stroke when they read this, but if your a GAP fan, the G39 is the same size and from what I've been seeing on here lately, people are getting them for smoking deals.

I've had 14 years of success with my G26's. I enjoy the mild recoil. Even firing weak-hand-only I can keep them on target at pretty good distance in semi-rapid fire. And they are super accurate when 2-handed.

G26 at the range with Hickok45.

I have been carrying the G 26 in the warmer months since 4-06. It is very easy to conceal. It is a great shooter and very accurate. The recoil is light and double tapping is no problem. The ammo I use is Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel. The G 26 works for me. I had a G 27 and it did not work for me.

I have a G26 and a G33. The G26 is my other half's glove box gun and I carry the G33 when I can carry the thicker gun. I have converted mine to a G27 by replacing the .357sig barrel with a .40S&W match grade barrel. It is like getting a second gun for $125. I also changed the slide out to a Lone Wolf slide.

Since the G27/G33 is the same size as the G26 I see no reason to go down to the 9mm unless you prefer it. So I would say get the G27 or G33 and then change barrels later if you decide you want the other caliber.

G33..."cause I like to reach out and touch someone". Besides, it is really cool to shoot and have every head in the range turn to see who just shot that "hand cannon", expecting to see some kind of huge .44 wheel gun, and here you are with this little glock grinning from ear to ear.
