If this is a tagalog word, what does this mean? Does it connote something negative or just a normal description of something?

    From Wikipedia:
I guess it became derogatory along the years, when I was a kid I often hear folks say "huwag kang timawa, marami pang hindi kumakain." I also heard it used on greedy politicians.

Timawa being the name of a Pinoy forum I just came upon. Just curious as to the meaning of this word. I guess the ^ posts answers my question.
