That might be worth a matinee when it hits the theatres.

Let me throw this out....are all movies now going to be presented in 3D as well?

I know they said Avatar has really reset the bar on not only how a movie should be made but 3D visuals as well. My bro just told me last night Spiderman 4 was canned because Rami told Sony after seeing Avatar he needs $80-$100 million MORE to make Spiderman 4 with a 3D option...they of course respectfully declined.

My wife and I saw Jim Carey's A Christmas Carol over the holidays in 3D--while I'm sure Avatar's 3D affects are much better (yes, we are two of the 28 people in the country who have not seen this yet), it didn't add that much more to the flick.

Plus locally, 3D movies at non-matinee pricing runs $30 per couple? Add a soda and popcorn and your pushing $40-45 to see a movie?

I'm a fan of Depp's work and I know my wife and I will go see it.

I am not a Burton fan either although I did like Big Fish and Ed Wood.

He ruined Batman and The Planet of the Apes stories.

I saw the preview during Avatar in 3d. It looks like it's going to be worth watching. I thought the 3d was going to be a big gimmick. Well I was wrong it really added to the depth of the movie. None of the cheesey 3d effects I was expecting.

I absolutly love J. Depp. I watch a lot of movies just because hes in them. He can potray each character very good. Good enough that if you dont know its him, you say........It that Johnny Depp? Like watching pirates of the caribbean and then watching charlie and the choclate factory.

I wanna see it. Unfortunately, we almost never get to the actual THEATER to see a movie, so we'll probably see it when it comes out on Netflix. You know, I don't WANT to like Johnny Depp, but darn it, he's so good in everything.

regular movie is 6.50, but that's also with student discount ..

then soda is 1.00 for the refill of the souvenir cup, and a pretzel or pop corn is 5.00
