    Too often, the result of inadequate training is inappropriate actions in crises. TigerSwan specializes in safely conducting realistic and real world training. Our training methodology provides students with tools to become proficient in basic and advanced individual skills. Training encompasses realistic scenarios requiring individuals and teams to exercise their new found skills while solving problems and making realistic “life and death” decisions in stressful training situations.

    The technical expertise, tactical experience and training abilities of our instructors are unmatched in the industry. Our instructors are Special Operations veterans with combat service in America’s Tier-One military units. They possess years of experience as operators, trainers and competitors.     Course Description:

    This course is designed to teach and develop the weapons handling skills needed in a tactical environment. It emphasizes safety, awareness and surgical marksmanship. Shooters will focus on constructive training venues through out the course, giving them the skills, training mindset and methodology necessary to train them self. The following areas are discussed during the course:

    - Diagnostic evaluation with both weapons
    - Sights, zeroing, external ballistics, slings, equipment setup
    - Fundamentals of rifle and pistol marksmanship
    - Reloading & malfunction drills
    - Shooting positions
    - Multiple shots / multiple targets Drills
    - The set-up and shooting on the move
    - Shooting from barricades & covered positions
    - Efficient training methodology and drills

    Ammo Requirements: 1200 rounds of pistol ammunition, 750 rounds of rifle ammunition.

    Training Schedule: Showtime is 7:30am, instruction starts at 8am and ends at 5pm.

    Individual equipment:
    • Pistol with 5 magazines / Carbine with 5 magazines
    • Belt with holster and magazine pouches
    • Magazine holder for the carbine/rifle.
    • Knee and Elbow pads (optional)
    • Weapon cleaning kit (with Oil for guns.)
    • Rain or inclement weather gear
    • Eye and Ear protection (clear and shaded lens are recommended)
    • Water / Snacks (we’ll take an hour lunch break around noon.)
    • Hat / Gloves (rifles will get hot.)
    • Sun Screen (non-greasy or water resistant recommended)
    • Optical Sight for rifle (Optional, but highly recommended.)

    ** We recommend you wear comfortable shoes, long pants, and bring a short or long sleeve shirt that you don’t mind getting dirty**.
