Yeah, I agree. Quack's is a smooth shooter for sure. I like that Tactical...without the enormous magwell.

Dude, that's the best part. It's 10x bigger than on a TRP.

They make good stuff regardless of the rollmarks. Plus, they're in the greatest state!

I had a STI Eagle for a short while and I really liked it. I eventually traded it for three Colt 1911s.

Yep, I like my POS STI Edge.
Mags will most likely need tuning to run properly.

I guess POS means something different when it's in front of STI?

STI, its hard to go wrong with any of their guns except that they have so many models and I want to try them all. Oh well.

Thumbs up to STI, but I don't care much for double stack 1911 style pistols.

    Why? (Honest question.)
Is it a personal thing or something functional?

    Thanks for any input.

That's my primary carry when working plain clothes assignments. The trigger is phenomenal. Recoil is very manageable, and it drives tacks. In three years I've not had a single malfunction.

Depending on what you are wanting it for, I can give some advice on magazines. I got four 126 mm mags, and I should have gotten two 140 mm mags and two 126 mags... Lesson learned.

    Yes, advice... please.
    Why the different magazines?
I'm looking for something to carry from time to time, but also something to enjoy at the gun club ranges.
