Thoughts on Ranger 147 grain T load?

    I'd appreciate your comments on Winchester's Ranger T 147 grain 9mm load, fired from a 4-5" barrel. Is the load too slow to expand or are there better choices?

    While I'm partial to the same brand in the 127 grain +P+ loading, if you are sold on 147 grain subsonic, the Ranger-T is certainly one of the best. Reports from Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office indicate that it is working very well. It seems to perform very consistently, while some older standard copper-jacketed lead 147s were not as consistent in human bodies as they were in ballistic gelatin.
