Everytime I roll into Wal-Mart I check the ammo cabinet and typically nothing but a few boxes of .40, a few .357 sig, and .22. I approached the cabinet and am braced for disappointment. I was stunned to see 11 boxes of 9mm WWB 100 round value packs. I bought 10 and left 1 box for some poor dude who just bought a pistol and wants to go to the range that day. Ok let me have it angry ammo searches. I'm that ***** ammo hoarder at Wal-mart today.
Ha, i just got back from Wal-mart and they had a sign that said "We are out of .380, 9mm, .45acp, and .22LR, Don't even ask. We don't know when more is coming in."
I think things are normalizing. I was at a BassPro at an undisclosed location this morning. They had .45, .357 sig, .38, I don't know what else.
Good for you is all your going to hear from me. But then again I load my own and don't have problems getting it.
I hold nothing against you for gettin while the gettin is good. Curious tho no WalMart limit on the amount you could purchase? I thought they were all doing the 2-3 box limit.
The only ammo I buy at WM is the 22 bulk packs and they are out of them most of the time. When they have them they have a 2 box limit on ammo anyhow. Probably a good thing because I'd buy all they had to.
any time i find it at WM i wipe them out. we have limits of 6 box per purchaser so normally ill buy, and then have the wife buy. and then call my dad and have him and my brother buy. if there's some left i send my mom. yes i horde hate me
The Houston WM stores by me dropped the limit a while back - One had a 2 box per caliber - the other had a 6 box limit mix or match When they had a limit they were always out - now no limit and they have plenty.
Yeah I saw the sign right in front of the lock that said "limit 6 per customer". I guess the kid I flagged down could not read or did not care. He asked "how many boxes"? I said 10. He then said "are you sure you don't want to buy all 11"? I do have a heart you know.
only the people you beat to it will whine about you buying too much, anything else is not logical. I am supposed to leave ammo on the shelf for people I do not know? Buy what you want when you want. you will be happy, the other guy could be better prepared.
I think ammo hoarding is almost more fun that shootingI think sleeping on top of my cases of ammo has even taken the place of gently caressing a newly aquired pistol or rifle.
Smart move! Better get all you can while it's available. If Obama wins you don't know what may happen.
