Gotta love a state where the wind comes sweeping down the plains! A calm day for us is 10-20mph winds. Helps dispersion no doubt!

    WOT?

I've spent most of the last 24/48 hrs. mostly sleeping* in 2-3 hr. blocks of time ... I'm trying to catch up now but... huh?

(Or am I still sleeping and just having yet another weird dream involving GT ?)

He may have been referring to some weirdo with poor English skills who was posting ads for really crappy looking facemasks on this thread and on others as well.

Up to 10% of survivors are testing positive again.
Further study needed to verify if the can transmit.
    :)

Also, human to cat and dogs transmission found.

Way, way back in the thread I had posted a source for 14% reinfection. If I hunt it down I will post it again.

Yep... I saw the 'cat' thing last night I think. Can't remember where though.

This scares me really, really badly. I could be FOS - long ago, watching a documentary-type thing on IIRC 'Discovery Channel' or some such/similar tv channel.
Footage of some drug or vaccine trial (compensated?) humans, MANY YEARS AGO (1950s? +/- ).

"Cytokine STORM" was hitting the participants like invisible tornadoes... omg, the pain, the patients half conscious at best, writhing and contorting, sweating, out of their minds..... It was horrible to even watch despite it having occurred however many years ago.
    Ok, that being said....
Any idea/info as to HOW SEVERE of an autoimmune disorder 'counts'? Is there a list somewhere, even if dated, maybe?
    Prevents proper clotting of blood?

(DAMNIT now I canNOT get that b&w film showing "Cytokine STORM" outta my mind.... so much for getting any more long & much needed sleep..... )

I/We probably would if it was judged on the same playing field. If people had no flu antibodies built up over decades and we had no workable flu vaccines and it still out paced the flu, I would be a believer. As it is .

She freaked. We have a plan. Technically at this point she last saw this woman now 10 days ago.

Typical though and yet another lesson. Woman claimed it was stomach flu, felt bad and came to work for 2-3 days like this exposing coworkers and clients.

What really pisses me off is the weekend before she called in sick she had her kids and grandchildren over.

I hope she is ok...but god's sake people if you feel like crap STAY THE [email protected]@@ HOME!

When I have time, I join the CDC phone conference.
    But, we are really busy.
Either my staff or I have manual notes.
    :)

Staff says there is one at 11 am today.
    No time to sit in.

    I’m using it, but I’m almost 64.
My wife isn’t, but she’s 15 years younger.

I hear a lot of speculation that the Italians report any death they can as a result of the Coronavirus, and that their daily death rate hardly changed from the average 1600/day.
Does anybody have a link to the real numbers of deaths in Italy - is it still around 1600/day, or it’s 2400-2500/day?
I know, I know, their hospitals wouldn’t be overwhelmed if it was still the average number of deaths, but I’m trying to convince my parents that they should take it seriously and stay home with some hard statistics.
