This dude is a surgeon, and supposed "expert", and yet he flubs basic medical terminology, using "strain" rather than "variant". Sure kid, I trust you. Besides, I heard that prediction from so called experts last spring:

You think the general public knows or cares about the distinction between strain or variant? Fauci uses the term strain sometimes. So does the CDC. I'm not sure there even is a formal definition for when a variant becomes a new strain.

Viruses generally acquire mutations over time, giving rise to new variants. For instance, another variant recently emerged in Nigeria.[1] CDC also is monitoring this strain but, at this time, it has shown no concerning characteristics to public health experts.

What I've been finding lately is most folks, including many in my family, are sheep. One individual here keeps posting "facts" supporting his belief that the pandemic is ending. He will end up eating his words. Others say, it's just a flu. Uh huh.

Thirty percent of infected patients have serious long term side effects. That ain't the flu. For your reading pleasure; see you all.

When people say "sheep" I think of someone following everything the government says without question. I think you are using it just the opposite?

The expected news from Los Angeles.
;)Background: Carbon Health is supposed to control the appointments for the City of LA. I have reported in this forum that the County keeps changing its reports on appointments that sometimes run 2 and 3 hours waiting in line with other people who were also administratively given appointments by Carbon Health. And at least once, it admitted that it failed to give second appointments. this is despite having every person's name, email address, telephone number and street address. I predicted that eventually it would post that for reasons beyond its control, it could not schedule second appointments, but they would say you will get the shot within 42 days. Well, today, the message now is that you will get a message today and maybe you will not get the second dosage within 42 days. If I bother to report tomorrow, I would probably report that I did not an email today from Carbon Health.

Thanks Cowboy 1964. With the understanding that the potential host population changes as more people are infected, I looked to see if there might be some correlation with temperatures/vitamin D from the sun and the number of cases going up as people don't exercise as much outdoors..
