Bac really needs to get a watermark and copyright on his pictures.
Yep... That's his!
hope he gave consent and people arent trying to bank off his work
Quite honestly, I'm surprised to see this happening as Bac's pics are very obviously amateur: no light box, no background fluff, no insanely high resolution macro, and probably no photoshop touch ups... Just gun and pink carpet. How odd that people would take them.
Must be really hard up for pictures of the gun I guess...
Worse yet, the site above stole the image from here - http://sferagunclub.blogspot.com/2010/12/thompson-custom-1911-1911tc-45-acp.html
They need to switch to some better pics of that gun.
That's an old pic they used. Here are better.
Nope. No consent given...
Yeah, I noticed that.
The Thompson isn't all that common of a 1911, so pics are probably hard to come by.
have heard they have a history of stealing content
I wouldn't doubt it.
Any pic posted on the net can be used by anyone.
not just pics, i mean theyve had trouble with copyright claims on reposting peoples articles as their own
Like I've stated before, I don't have an issue with anyone using my pics, as long as they aren't used to try to deceive someone.
My wife is constantly finding people/sites selling illegal copies of her books, too. She just sends off a DMCA notice.
In good news, Bac's collection is gaining national fame.
who else has that many lol
This is nothing new,....pics of Brian's pistols have shown up on forums overseas.
Bac, do you like that gun? I stumbled here to see another Bac stolen pic and I never really stared at one of these before.
MSRP $813 and I like the looks a lot. Especially your second pic you posted here. Looks like a bargain.
BAC do you know who Stickman is? Maybe you can get him to help you with a nice watermark logo like he uses on ARs and stuff.
