Hey All,

After "stalking" GT for almost a year now, I think it's finally time to start contributing and... I come bearing pics!

After waiting a little over nine months (not a typo, believe it or not), for my CC permit, I finally bought my first Glock. After personally witnessing over 1000 rounds ran through KenBGlock19's own G19 without a single hiccup (and numerous "sermons" from him regarding all there is to love about Glocks), I had to get one of my own. I popped her cherry with 150 rounds of WWB and, since I didn't limp wrist it , had no issues.

I look forward to finally contributing and can't thank everyone enough for everything I've learned so far through this forum! Obviously, though, the lesson regarding .45 being far more suitable for CCW than 9mm, didn't stick... :whistling:

I'll keep working on the .45 part though.

Wow, nine months. :faint: Nice pics. Congrats and welcome to GT.
Congrats on the purchase. I absolutely love these pistols. There's just something about their ruggedness and combat proven heritage that i love.

I agree, but after seeing some of Bowtie's work in previous threads:)notworthy:), a polished slide looks awfully tempting!
Welcome, I just purchased a G19 today too. I got delayed... again... Every single time I get delayed.
Congrats and welcome. Nice pics. Sorry to hear about your long wait. Enjoy GT.
Wow, nine months for a CCW! I was annoyed at having to wait two months for mine.

Ya, a called a couple times over the months and I was told that "they were a little backed up." Ya think? :steamed:

It was well worth the wait though. It could have been worse...a couple years ago I lived in the "People's Republic of Massachusetts"! To this day, I'm still trying to unravel those regulations!
Welcome aboard as today I received a New Glock into my Family, the G19. Ordered 6 extra Mags and a FBI right side Holster. WoW WoW SiS Boom BaHah! Starting the 1000 round test before carrying! The Dillon Small Pistol Primer Press is starting to HUMMM...
