The G27 is a great little handgun. Unless, you have a total dislike for it, I would keep it.

    I'm either going after a Gen4 19 or a G30sf. I like the G27 but either want a Compact 9mm or .45. just getting away from the .40 cartridge

Get the 30 if you already have a 21

Go for a G23. LWD barrels will find a way into your budget down the road. And you can shoot up all that 40 you will find after you sell the G27.

Three cartridges in one pistol! Can't beat that... come to think of it, buy a LWD 9mm or .357Sig for your G27 and try it out...

You *might* change your mind about trading it

Just checked - $109 gets you into 9mm, plus you need to add some magazines...

    Good luck with the decision!

I got a Storm Lake G27 40-9mm conversion barrel and some G26 mags for my G27 and totally love it.
    Ran 200 Speer Duty GDHP 124 +P 9mms flawlessly.
In my hands; the gun is more accurate, has less recoil and ejects better with this barrel than OEM 40!

I think I may have lucked into the way to deal with the whole 9mm ejector issue LOL!.

Plus I've got an X-Grip and G19 mags too for that compact size thingy.

    Just a thought

naw, I bought the 27 thinking I would get a conversion barrel but now I dont really care to shoot other ammo than the gun was designed for.

    its now either a G30sf or G19, or maybe a G36

The ejector is 30274 and the RSA has 0 4 3 on the end. Glock claims all 9's after 10/10/11 have the new parts.
