Thinking about buying a new pedal

    Okay I'm thinking about buying a Digitech XXM metal master distortion pedal, and im wondering if any of you have any experiences with one?

    I am not familiar with it, but the MT-2 by Boss is a good pedal. Do you have a guitar center where you can try both? Do a lot of palm mutes with it and see how those sound. I would like to know how it sounds, too, actually. The sad fact is, for serious death metal one can only turn to the POD PRO and PRO XT. I use the "Insane" setting sparingly so I don't get too used to it. I juggle "Modern high gain" and "Insane" every day, because the playing styles needed to keep up with either are very different. Anyway, try and try it out yourself. Compare it to some different models.

    I really like Line 6 stuff, but the POD PRO is awesome!
