It's a great little powerhouse. I've carried my G29SF for the past 6 years now.

I've had a G29 for more than 10 years, and I really like the compact 10mm firepower it provides. It's one that will be around here for a long time.

For those who enjoy various calibers, 10mm makes the short-list. A breed apart. 29...20...good things come in pairs!

Too fat and heavy for my liking. My 29 is on bed duty since the past 5 years. Now a 6 shot single stack in the form factor of a G43 would be something.

Factor in its versatility and it can be a couple pistols its self. Simple barrel swaps negate the only downsides to the 29 being chambered in a less common caliber.

10mm is a great round, though I prefer a longer barrel.

I like the size of the platform.I won (2) 29's about 15 years ago and sold them too quickly. If I was not vetted in 9mm and old I'd start over with the 10mm. Good Luck in the quest.

    I use a 4.6'' 10mm barrel and it has
the same power as my g20/4 and SF.

    I like my Gen 3 Glock 29, but it's a hand full.

Grip tape and pinky extensions I chose.

I keep mine bedside in a Bug out bag. With extra magazines with JFP Double Tap loads.

It has become too thick and heavy for a daily carry now a days. But if I go out on a day trip or ??? It always goes along. I would like to see what a SF would feel like in my hands these days. My only mod to it was a Side Clip. When they first came out.

The G20 magazine will add a few rounds, too.

I have a KKM G21-10mm 6" barrel on order for my Gen 2 G21/20 in anticipation of a TX hog hunt with my son. Lots of available options with these pistols.

Yeah, a S&W Model 29 6 1/2" barrel and blued finish would my choice over a Glock 29 any day. Ha!

My 29sf is my EDC for the last 6 years. It feel small and light to me, as I carried a G20 with +2 mags for 20 years. I have no issues with it as an EDC and highly recommend it to anyone so inclined. I have several barrel and calibers options for it and it's big brother. I love the power and handling of it. Can I shoot a 9mm Faster? Yes, but I am as likely to run a fowl of a large hairy as a 2 legged problem where I live and work. That is why I prefer 10mm!

I love my 29, I bought it as a backup for bear when I went to Alaska. Its my go-to gun when I'm out in the desert, but it is a little bulky IMO for everyday carry. Buying the .40 barrel was the best decision ever because it can get a little expensive to shoot 10 mm all the time, plus its just not that fun after awhile. :)

I have 3 KKM barrels for mine. The 4.6 inch, standard 3.73 inch and a .40S&W conversion. The 4.6 inch turns it into an 11 round G20. Great Platform.

Like,,I have more than 20 AM barrels for my Glocks.

Having just a stock G20/G29 is like having a golf
bag with only one golf club, it's just so limiting.
