Yep - the 20-somethings probably don't even know that the good guys had rebel flags on their car and weren't called racist back then. A lot of stuff you think is normal is very, very recent - especially in terms of language, sex and race. I remember when it was a major controversy that Billy Crystal played a gay character on Soap.

T said it best. "I can watch Terminator a hundred times but I don't want to go shoot up a restaurant!"

Today's PC society makes me sick...

Sent from the Titanic. I named my phone "The Titanic" so when I plug it into the computer it says "The Titanic is syncing".

Yep. People who try to limit the 1st amendment, are just as crazy as those who try to limit and regulate the 2nd amendment.

They said it with a purpose, you could do that now. Just like they have showed penii and breastesisis for "educational" purposes.

Back in 81 or 82, there was a newsmagazine on CBS that had a piece on this jeans designer who had photos of topless 14 yr old girls as ads. They showed the ads several times during the segment. I was 12 so I thought it was great.

If it was a mistake, mother played the rerun of it several months later. No edits. ????

Kind of odd how back then more homes had guns in them, there were no such things as trigger locks, gun laws were more loose and we watched shoot-em-up movies all the time but yet nobody shot up the school or mall.

I remember that kind of thing too, where young girls were shown quite provocatively but then again, everything was suggestive, not open in your face like it is now. Today if you are suggestive or hint at something, half the audience won't be able to figure it out.

Then again, now we have toddlers in tiearas and honey boo boo.

We've become a country of censorship, a majority of the population favors censorship and restrictions in the name of security or "morality".

Thanks. I remember sitting there watching Frank basically destroy Tipper Gore's arguments and laughing my butt off.

Ice T gained a modicum of respect from me just now. He presented his side very well.
