I have one, and although it is somewhat neutered because I live in NJ, I was thinking about events / concepts / legislation that inspire me to buy more:
    1. Proposed gun control ideas
    2. Riots
    3. Totalitarian state governments
    4. Election year
    5. Because more is better
    6. Liberals say they hate them
    7. America's rifle
    8. Embodiment of freedom
    9. Fun to shoot

    Please continue....

Because they look cool. Other than that they are just another semi auto rifle. But I love the way they look and that that also scares Lib-tards.

Consider Ruger Mini 14 in .223.

About every time I watch TV news I see something about a "civil war"- and it's people in far different demographic groups saying it. It's frightening. They're frightening, and thats how they want to come off. I can shoot an AR reasonably well. Probably my best tool for survival when something like they're instigating actually happens.
Being in a compromised position of "privilege" I'm started to get real worried about what's gonna happen to my family, and what I am going to do when they come to kill us.
I've got a job with a lot of down time, so I watch too much news, but this is how I think now.

If I was looking, it would be to a larger caliber like a 7.62.

It would be better for butt stroking some thug and it does not look as scary to the sheeple. Other than that I don't see any reason to buy one.

Well AR-15 for distance out to 500 yards(A little more a little Less)
AR10 for the distance out to 800+ yards
Bolt 762X51 out to 1200 yards(if you have the training)
AKs out to 300 yards for most, best for close quarters. (25-100 yards)
Yes I've been reconsidering another rifle, as if I needed another ex wife.
I would like a PCC in .45 ACP, 185 gr HPs, Glock mags or 50 round drum and a good Red Dot so I can wack those MFer rats at 100 yards.

    10) Ignorant politicians saying stupid things like we should defund the police.

    11) Radical models of total domination/submission/annihilation being preached against our nation by an illiterate religion.

    12) Rioters/looters/other assorted idiots who may need to be dealt with personally.

    13) To do my part and help support American jobs.

    14) Because I can. And I can’t think of any better reason than that really.

Both of my Mini 14 look pretty intimidating, I would stand watch with it.

A number 1 reason: Because as a free man in this Country, you can. Slowly but surely, the rest of the civilized World is being disarmed.
A number 1A reason: Redundancy. As in a back up weapon.
Like someone once said: Buy it often and stack it deep!

All true. The biggest advantage is being able to switch the uppers for different calibers.

Because they are Legos for adults! I like to assemble them. I've been talking my friend into getting un assembled kits and I put em together for them. I've started using an upper lapping tool. Not sure if it makes a difference but it's just another "thing to do" when assembling. I am going to see if I can shim the upper to the barrel adapter on the next one. I have some .001 stainless shim I got from work.
