I haven't since the mid 90s. A lot of stuff was overpriced and people want to haggle. I hate haggling even for a car where $500-2000 can be in play. At least there the haggling will get you a good chunk of change. About the only thing I would look for would be parts and holsters. I remember reading an article from a gunsmith where he talked about buying an old N frame .357 missing the barrel. He then found a .45 M25 barrel at another show. Then a .45 ACP cylinder at another show. He pieced it all together and chopped the barrel for a pin gun/CCW piece. About the only way I would go into one now is if I lived in a gun friendly place like Idaho and was looking for project pieces. Like say someone had a Mossberg 930 barrel. I'd like to have a rifle sighted 18" barrel for my 930 in addition to my 18" bead sighted barrel.
