Obviously unfit to be a mother and she doesn't want to be in that role either. It's her own twisted way of placing the responsibility of being a mother on somebody else.

Since it is summer it seems like the perfect time to sentence her to a sweatbox. Have the inmates make a box with 2x4s and tin roofing.
