Wow, they are just everywhere! Better watch out, those guns will just jump out of their hiding places and shoot you!

It looks like most of this is an attempt to educate police , rather than some great revelation being handed down by an anti crime genius. All of it is pretty much common knowledge type stuff . And it looks like it applies more directly to those types who carry in a pocket or stuck in their pants cuz they are criminals, who dont spend moeny on quality gunleather for the gats they buy out of a car trunk in the back alley

I have to wonder about that supposed tell at the top right though. I never find myself turning my gun side away when approached from the front. Do I do it and not realize it ? Does anyone else ? Are they really on to me ?!?!?

Only things I notice I may do differently is when I get out of the car or shift position drastically I will give a inside-forearm bump to my hip to make sure its all good. The only thing on that poster that I would ever be guilty or doing is maybe holding it if I had to run but wouldn't use my whole hand but would opt for my forearm and push it against my hip.

It has a lot to do with the fit of the holster and how long you've been wearing it. It's a lot harder to notice if it's comfy. which is my reason for preferring leather over kydex.

With over 40 thousand cops and that equates to about every 20 feet the real reason crime is low in NYC is cops...not gun control. :whistling: Nice post by the op though.

I attended a gun club meeting last month. One of the guys in attendance had the photog vest and a fanny pack. Problem with that scene was that there were 3 others that were dressed in similar style in a room of about 40.

They are not on to me. I have been wearing a baseball cap lined with aluminum foil. You really can't tell it is there.

That has been posted on here a few times before, often along with the FBI bulletin about recognizing the traits of armed persons, or something like that...forget the exact title.

As mentioned above a good belt/holster combination works wonders.

Bear in mind that the people putting out the flier are toadies working for a 3rd world regime. They aren't selected on the basis of being bright.

    This is unbelievable what the
VA is trying to do now.
The government would have to disarm the military, the cops(most are
    vets) and us.

VA Questions Regarding Concealed Carry Permit
I Got this from a very reliable retired cop. For what it is worth.
Veteran's Administration Questions Regarding Concealed Carry Permit

I received this today from a friend of mine. You may find it interesting
and may wish to pass it along.

I had a doctor's appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found
something very interesting I would like to pass along. While going through
triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three
    questions.

    (1. Did I feel stressed?
    (2. Did I feel threatened?
    (3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?

The nurse then informed me, if I had answered yes to any of the questions,
I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my
medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.

I am a Vietnam vet and 15 year cc permit holder. Looks like they are
going after us vets. Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration
has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners as potential
terrorists. If you are a veteran, you've been warned. If you know
veterans, please pass this on to them.

I know this may be old stuff for some of you here but it is worth mentioning again, I sent this to are solders In Iraq and they have already been ask this question and most want to have a Conceal carry Permit, This is what they have to look forward to comming home next month when they sign up for VA benefits,
They tried this when I got back from Nam in the 60ds and it didn't work either. Most of us had a friend at the VA who warned us not to tell them anything about how you feel. Most who saw combat like myself thought that how they will take are guns away then also. Sorry but it was something that we all should think about. thanks for listening. LB

This dates back to 1992 when I doubt there were very many who could Legally CCW. It was used by LEO to determine probable cause to search, charge and obtain convictions of illegal concealed carry.

It is good for us legal CCWers to see if we are making obvious mistakes. Although the sheeple most likely don't notice.
