There was an earthquake in France.......

Today it was reported that a severe earthquakes have occurred in 10 different locations in France. The severity was measured in excess of 10 on the Richter Scale.

The cause was the 56,681 dead American soldiers buried in French soil rolling over in their graves.

According to the American Battle Monuments Commission there are 26,255 Yankee dead from World War I buried in 4 cemeteries in France. There are
30,426 American dead from World War II buried in 6 cemeteries in France.

These 56,681 brave American heroes died in their youth to liberate a country which is guilty of shameful unspeakable behavior in the 21st century. May the United States of America never forget their sacrifice as we find ways to forcefully deal with the Godforsaken unappreciative, forgetful country of France!

PASS THIS AROUND! Maybe it will get to someone in France!!!

The French are grateful for all we've done to help them. They have some different views and that can be a good thing. There's no reason for the world to be without dissent on the subject of war. God forbid we should have peace.

    That's true Ron,

    But,

the French basically wanted the US to leave our troops sitting around outside Iraq indefinately, so Sadam would continue to pretend to be trying to cooperate. They knew the only reason he was even pretending to cooperate was due to US forces and the threat of war. It was costing them very little, while it was increasing the danger to our military and costing us a lot. To refuse to take a harder line against a dictator who had defied the UN for over a decade, just because it wasn't the French millitary who was hanging out in a sandstorm, was beyond stupid.

Yes they have billions in contracts with Sadam's government for oil drilling and processing equipment, but that's still no excuse for their stand. They could simply have been up front and honest and said we will support this so long as our contracts with Iraq are honored or given a chance.

The problem aint that nobody wants peace, the problem is that there are certain countries and people who are not willing to do anything to get peace. Peace and freedom come at a price. Unless there is a threat of force and a willingness to follow through, then why would someone like Sadam choose to comply? GWB has gone out of his way to go through the UN and prevent war, which was obviously wasted time, but it shows that he aint a cowboy lookin' for a fight. Want peace, great, but you have to pay for it first.
