That should snag on clothing nicely. No thanks.
Yep not a snag issue. I carried the gap on my G27 with no issues, and 43 and don't even notice it, except when you shoot it. Locks the gun into you hand, I love mine.

I don't get it. Wouldn't your pinky still fall below that slim protrusion on a G26?
Yes, it will. I bought one of these, and have since replaced it with a Pearce grip plate. I have 4 mags for the 26, and all of them have Pearce plates, just works better for me. I have tried pretty much everything.

I ordered one before I saw this thread. I'm hoping it will work better for me than it apparently did for you. If not, even if my pinky still falls below this lip/plate, maybe it will offer more purchase for the third finger - thus giving me a better grip than with the factory mag? Also, when you say you prefer the Pearce grip plate, can I assume that it somehow allows you to rest your pinky on top of the plate? I'm also wary of having a gap between any "mods" and the base of the grip; some have complained about their finger(s) getting pinched if there's any space.
Thanks!

Try this. Insert a magazine without the GeePlate, take your ring finger and middle finger, then rub them against the front of the grip. See how they can run off the end of the grip regardless of stipple, nubs, and tape?

Now put a magazine with the GeePlate installed. See how your fingers don't slip off the grip when you try the same thing? When you grip the gun with your ring and middle finger, the ledge/tooth, will keep your two fingers together and help lock your grip. Pinky still curls under the magazine. It's really not involved in the grip

It works amazingly well. Hope that helps.

I like it but, I prefer the barrel covered up more since Im always hitting the barrel on things. Not to mention the dust and debris that gets into the barrel. I ended up making my own some time ago :

Nice looking holster but the Geeplate is a magazine base plate,I will stick with my +1 Pierce.
