    From Conservative Tribune

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made quite a name for himself earlier this year when he ostentatiously went to his knee during the playing of the national anthem before NFL games.

Now that he is a free agent, Kaepernick still hasn’t been picked up by any team, and the reason probably won’t surprise you. An anonymous AFC general manager explained to Bleacher Report that many teams simply don’t like him — or the idea of his being in their uniform.

“Some teams fear the backlash from fans after getting him. They think there might be protests or (President Donald) Trump will tweet about the team. I’d say that number is around 10 percent,” he stated.

The manager also explained that roughly 20 percent of the NFL teams out there don’t think Kaepernick can play at the NFL’s level anymore.

“Third, the rest genuinely hate him and can’t stand what he did. They want nothing to do with him. They won’t move on. They think showing no interest is a form of punishment. I think some teams also want to use Kaepernick as a cautionary tale to stop other players in the future from doing what he did,” the manager explained.

This serves him right. Calling attention to yourself by kneeling for the national anthem, disrespecting the United States and defending a monster like Fidel Castro isn’t a great way to become popular.

I’m sure Kaepernick and all his liberal fans won’t see it that way. They are just going to insist that the real reason these teams aren’t picking him is because they are all incredibly racist.

(Or as the sympathetic writer of the Bleacher Report put it, punishing Kaepernick for a “political statement.)

But the fact is, Kaepernick was booed at almost every game he played in, so it is understandable that many NFL teams want to avoid that sort of controversy in the upcoming year.

Maybe now other players will realize that disrespecting the country that gives them the freedom to play football (or any other sport) isn’t a good idea, and eventually they will pay for their actions.

Kaepernick was free to kneel, but now the NFL teams are exercising their freedom to reject him and his hatred of America.

    My comments;

What do I think will eventually happen to this *****? I'm guessing that sooner or later he'll probably "drop dead"? (kinda like all of the rest of us?)

Actually, I really don't CARE what happens to the puke; (I just don't want to see him in any more NFL uniforms.) Apparently a lot of NFL teams must feel the same way that I do......

If they thought they could make a buck and win a championship they'd hire him in a minute. Everything else is idle chitchat.

Just check your diaper for that safety pin. You might need it though, sounds like a buttload there.

Did you conveniently forget the kneeling was DURING the national anthem?

Not butthurt - quite the opposite there is satisfaction in watching karma play out. Watching a bully get his a$$ handed to him. Seeing a terrible driver get pulled over. Kapernick not being able to get a NFL job? Yup. Just fine with me.

Wrong. I'm offended that someone making millions of dollars for playing a game had the audacity to disrespect the country and the brave soldiers who fought and died to give him that opportunity.

If he can make a political statement so can the owners who don't want to hire him.

Now he can kneel when he asks, "You want fries with that?", provided some place actually gives him a job.
