Good Lord, what a waste of celluloid... it was on today, and I just let it play out, waiting for something of substance or realistic to occur. Calling the plot and writing two-dimensional is an insult to both length and width, and it plays out like an "Occupy Movement" primer, complete with all of the same well-thought-out lines of logic and rabid passion.

Thank the gods those days are (mostly) over.

It was the '70s - the Native American movement was happening.

Check out 'Then Came Bronson' if you like that sort of thing.

The part where they're doing the Hapkido cane stuff is ok though if you look closely you'll see that Nong Soo Han actually his part and Tom Laughlin's part like in the original

    Yes, We have changed.
If some self proclaimed goodnik barricaded himself in a compound with a bunch of children and starting shooting at the police the outcome would be dismal.
About 300 black clad federal agents would sourrond the place, push the media back, quarantine the spot and then burn it down. They would then proclaim victory over a self styled seperatist.
There would be hints and allegegations of necrophilia, kid touching, ties to Al Queda, global extortion and motion picture distribution.
A panel would assemble in congress to investigate. They would take forever, produce nothing, and spend a ton of money on fact finding trips to Las Vegas and the Cayman Islands.
The "news media" would show a burned and rusted length of metal and proclaim it was a .50 calibre machine gun.
At no point would anyone alive or dead be cuffed in the front and led away with any hint of dignity. This goes for dirty hippies or pro constitution groups. Yes, things have changed.

I've seen all four in the series.

The second one called 'Billy Jack" was the only one worth a damm.

It was the sixties. You had to be there to appreciate it.

I saw them all in the theatre (dating myself). I thought Born Losers was okay.

But, you're right. Billy Jack was the best one. "I'm fixing to put my right foot up against the left side of your head and there's not a damn thing you can do to stop it."

I thought Born Losers was a pretty good "B" drive-in movie. If I remember correctly that's the one where Jeremy Slate took a well deserved bullet between the eyes? I don't think I watched Billy Jack or the other two.

Born Losers was good. Not only did it provide Bren with his avatar but how could not like that white bikini?

I saw all four of them too. On TV, of course.

That's a cool line, but damn the movie progressed from bad to worse.

That movie influenced my empty mind when I watched it as a little kid.

I really wanted to get a gold 1969 427 Corvette like the one Billy drove into the lake…if there was any other message I missed it.

I remember people talking about Billy Jack back then. When I finally saw part of one I was happy I had not wasted money seeing it at the theater. I bet those poor Indians had been praying for a white savior.
