........it's only 9 degrees though
Nice n sunny here as well.
Looks beautiful. I love the sun. Bitter cold with sun is better than sort of cold and no sun.
Salt Lake is in our Temperature Inversion season. Cold foggy/smoggy air settles in the valley. Clear clean warm air flows over the top. Haven't seen the sun for days. I the summer we go weeks at a time with out a cloud or hint of rain. Peculiarlies of the high desert.
Got the roof cleared!
Nice. I'm letting my roof be as it does not have any northern exposure and we will be above freezing for 36 hours or so next week
Looks like you guys don't have so much on the roof. We had about 2 feet. That's about 10% of it in the photo. Took me about 15 hours to do the whole thing, but not a chance I'm waiting for it to turn to ice Tuesday. This is the most snow I've seen in town.
We have had 8' in 30 days! But we need it
Not in town, we haven't.
I've been measuring in the backyard
.....my bad, 6'
I'd say more like 4' here (east side of Awbrey, above river trail). Hard to tell with all the drifting, though.
Even though I'm a Florida snob, that makes me missing the white stuff. Snow that is.
I've been going by the amount on the deck in the back as I shovel it down back to the planks
What's the beer situation like there?
I drink Stella in cans or DosXX on tap. But you can't swing a dead cat around this town without hitting a brewery
Beer situation is copacetic. Minor problem in that there has been no recycling pickup due to snow, but I've been able to keep the empties under reasonable control. It takes a lot of freakin' beer to move that much snow and keep up my dry fire schedule.
Your flag is displayed backwards.
The pole broke in the wind a few weeks back
Beer availability > managing empty beer containers
Oh look, it's down to 9 again
