So guys, if you could recreate or alter the timeline so that one of the seven wonders of the ancient world still existed, which would it be? Note that the Great Pyramid at Giza is still there, so your 6 options are...

    The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

    The Lighthouse of Alexandria

    Colossus at Rhodes

    Statue of Zeus at Olympia

    Mausoleum of Halicarnassus

    Temple of Artemis

I would personally choose the Hanging Gardens,

oh and there is already a replica of the Mausoleum here in America, 5 points to whoever knows where and what it is

I would ask Dragoon44 for an expert opinion before I make a decision.

I am a seafaring guy myself, so I have to go with the lighthouse at Alexandria.

another vote for the lighthouse, though the original writer of the list, Antipeter of Sidon, favored the Temple of Artemis as the finest of the Wonders.

That's what I was thinking, too.

At it's height, the great Library of Alexandria was believed to have almost a million scrolls. The collected wisdom of the ancient world.
