[All I did was 'submit new thread', apparently right before, or during GT's database backup procedures, as I immediately lost my connection to the website. A half hour later, I check back and bam....Three empty threads. Not my fault. ] Hey all. Not too long ago, I ordered some TruGrips for my Gen4 G17. This was done online [http://www.ericwesselman.com/] At first, I had a question as to whether the grips I bought (the only ones offered) were reasonably-compatible with a Gen4. After getting no responses, I contacted him again asking if he was still in business. No responses. I have contacted him a few times over the past few weeks via phone (leaving messages) and email. No responses. Also, when I ordered the grips, there was no invoice or proof of sale provided to me. Based on his previous reputation (producing good grips), I don't want to rain on anyone's business, but I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't want to call my credit card company and charge the sale back. But then again, I have no way of finding out whether the guy is still in business. Do any of you know whether this is just the way he operates (no invoice, ships within a few weeks, etc..). Or if any of you have tried to buy something from him and eventually found out he's not doing this anymore. Per his website (the last time it was updated was quite a while ago), he was going into a regular job that prevented him from fulfilling orders and doing grip-related stuff during normal working hours, etc..
