    Had to be up late. Just winding down and see "Numb3rs" on TV. Premis is some sniper kills a couple people (I missed first half hr) so now every guy who has a hunting rifle has decided "since the Police have not caught sniper I can shoot anyone who EVER ticked me off and not be caught"
    Making the point if nobody had scoped hunting rifle there would not be killing. "people are killing neighbors because they didn't return lawnmower they borrowed/didn't return"

    People need to be aware of how their perceptions and beliefs are being shaped by the media. Every piece of entertainment we watch changes our perceptions a little bit. If there is a consistant direction to the residual messages then gradually people will start to move in that direction. Look at the media in America since the 50's and 60's and look how we as a country have changed.

    And there are also people out there who still believe realilty TV is real as well...:whistling:
