Glock announces the Glock 30S. A M36 slide on a 30SF frame holding 10 rounds of .45 ACP.
30S you mean not a 30C .... already been posted all over on here LOL
Sorry, I hadn't seen it before. They announced it today via Facebook as announcement 2 of 3. 1 was the company forum. Wondering what #3 will be.
What is the difference between the new g30s and the g36?
November called, and we all said ho-hum.
the 30s is the combo of the 36 slide mounted on a 30sf gen3 frame. so the 30s will have a double stack mag (10rds) vs the 36 single stack (6rds), 30s has the 36 slide which is thinner (1.18 vs 1.27") than the 30 and the gun has the same height as the 30 vs the 36 shorter frame by 0.04". glock has posted the 30s on their web site now - so you can compare for yourself.
so not sure why they didnt just use the 30 gen 4 frame and drop the 30 and 30sf and not have 30 gen 4 but a 30S GEN4????????
Rlee, dude, this is posted at least three time above. And their announcement number 3 will be another ridiculous attempt to convince pissed off customers that they REALLY do have something big to announce. If #3 sucks and everyone gets pissed, they will announce "surprise #4 from Glock coming soon! (As soon as we figure out something else laying in a desk drawer we can dust off and sell as new). Color me cynical.
So Glock has a company forum? Do you mean a forum like Glocktalk except run by Glock?
