I was going through the old duty belt thread today and saw that most of the pics don't work anymore...I guess GT prunes attachments after awhile...so I decided to start a new one.

Here goes:

I am probably near the top of the "gear queer" list. I just bought a nylon belt and pouches and have the following configurations: (all are from left to right)

Alright guys...post 'em if you got 'em!

And I'd recommend opening a photobucket account instead of eating up GT's server space with attachments.

NICE!!!!!
Looks like you gotta long way to go before you're a GQ. Still need a taser and cell phone holster as well.
That's ALOT of nice lookin' gear!

We've got M26s that pretty much make wearing my gear impossible...it rides in the center console. I long for an X26, because I could make it work. I don't carry my cell phone on my belt because I don't want to damage it...it rides above the visor.

I should point out if it isn't obvious that I have one basic leather belt and one basic nylon belt and just switch holsters and mag pouches.

LET'S SEE SOME PICS, GUYS!

SIR YES SIR!

Okay.........
The extra cuff i hook up with a keeper or extra smaller cuffcase. The baton goes IN the pants in a special sleeve in the left leg.
GEEZ, just looking over those belts makes my old back scream, glad I retired, always said we had to much junk on the belt.
Nah, nowadays we work out and don´t eat donuts the whole time.:rollsmiley:
I guess i'm the GQ with the cell phone holder

Actually everything pictured was issued to me with the exception of the flashlight pouch and G22.

From right to Left

Cell Phone Holder

Uncle Mikes Triple retention holster
Handcuff Pouch

So I guess I've come to learn that VD really isn't GQ after all.
Did anybody see the article in the first issue of "American Cop" talking about excessive duty belt crap? They put a belt together with EVERYTHING on it...including a phone and blackberry and maybe some other stuff.

I saw it while I was in the academy, so I don't have a copy to scan.
Everything i have on my belt i use several times a week. I have it arranged so that it doesn´t bother me in the least.
It´s like wearing a vest. It´s heavy, cumbersome and warm. But you have it just for that one day in your life your life depends on it.
Being a small guy myself, I've got very limited room on my duty belt and it shows. Most of my coworkers often wonder why I've got two bags. Most of it simply has no room on my belt
Pardon my ignorance but do LEO have to buy all of their own gear?

Are you supplied with the minimum requirement and then if you want to upgrade than it is up to you?

DaBigBR's Kimber rig is just SWEET! That is very nice.
