Hello guys! I have some great news but also need your help. My father has just promised to get me a new pistol regardless of is price as soon as he starts to work as a professor at the university! So I really don’t need something that is going to be just a collector item, I want something I can depend on, I want the most durable and reliable 9mm that money can buy? What should I choose?

Any Glock in 9mm. Cheap parts, mags, aftermarket stuff galore.

For price, and many other reasons you can't beat the G19. However, if I had the money I would get a Hi-power.

Best bang for the buck is the G19. If someone made me that offer however,

May I suggest a HK P7? Awesome gun, very accurate, collectable. You can ALWAYS get your money back out of it if need be, awesome cc piece, fun to shoot, very cool gun. After Bac's pictures and comments and years of lusting for one, I found one and took the plunge! No regrets what-so-ever! It has replaced my main cc gun, i LOVE IT!

If I was given that offer I would say a HK P30 V3. Can't go wrong with a G19 though.

    I would buy either a Glock 17 or a CZ75.

What are gun prices like over there? I know in Czech the price for glocks is around $800
