As far as the video, everyone is entitled to their opinions, even carl sagan, but sagan never did tell us how a star could/would fuse oxygen.

EDIT: And you can't fuse past iron. It's a puzzle for some people, but maybe someday the Creator of our universe will let us know.

I loved his high school series on PBS, Neil DeGrasse High. Although those kids were weird.

    There I fixed it!:embarassed:

Small stars only go to iron. Super Nova make the heavier stuff. Everthing on Earth that is heavier than iron came from a Super Nova. That is pretty astounding fact.

I'm not a physicist so can't explain it. When stuff like this comes on TV such as the History Channel I just watch in amazement. Here in Wyoming it is easy to watch the night sky. Right now there are two very bright planets and a full Moon. As fast a Man can travel we can't even get around our little Solar System let alone our Milky Way Galaxy.

The most astounding fact is nothing more than a guess! There is alot of by chance being talked about, I believe that we can be nothing without a masterful designer!

    Cool video though!

Yup. I believe modern science and hypothesis' backed by observation are more reliable than a book authored by several people over hundreds of years, and then translated by multiple people into many languages, then explained by someone on a weekly basis.

We are made of atoms, period. You want to introduce your bizarre (albeit culturally approved) superstitions into it, knock yourself out, but it's still nothing more than a threadcrap.

Wyoming has it right: all the elements up to iron are made in the interiors of normal stars, but the heavy elements are only produced in the most extreme conditions - in supernovae.

So when somebody tells you that your gold or platinum or iridium coins are "only metal," just look up at the sky and smile.

It's interesting how many scientific 'tidbits' are claimed to be impossible by people with an agenda. Two minuets on Google and you find out they're the ones who are FOS. Maybe they should add the internet to their list of forbidden science because it makes the lies and misinformation much harder to spread.
