Just finished reading The Last True Story I'll Ever Tell by John Crawford. Gotta say, it is a good book. I did a tour in Iraq, just a little bit after Crawford was there, and I think it is acurate. Gives a good picture of what the guy on the ground was thinking about. Read the whole book in a day and have told my wife and dad to read it to give them a better idea of what I went through. Not saying it is the end all, be all, war novel, but it definitely did hit home with a lot of experiences I had over there.

I liked that book a lot too. Very honest thoughts. It's funny but reading these Iraq and Afghanistan books remind me a lot about Vietnam vets and their stories. But then occupation force duty is like that.
