I want a Possible Whopper! No way am I gonna go vegan. Not possible for that hybrid-soy-burger fast-fake to duplicate the Brazilian beef goodness that is a Whopper!

They do. My wife is a veggie, she's not anti-meat eater good thing since her husband and son are Tyrannosaurs, but she is a veggie and Ive tried every kind of veggie burger, hot dog, bacon, whatever, just for laughs.

They all taste like crap. Actually they are taste "less" as you would expect from tofu and after one bite I always feel like baring my fangs and running down a helpless cow.

They named it appropriately, because me actually eating one would be "impossible".

I tried the Impossible Burger awhile go, just out of curiosity. I thought it was good, and with all the normal "fixings" was indistinguishable from a meal based hamburger. But after that first one I saw no reason to eat any more of them, preferring just to eat meat as usual. Personally I prefer the Quarter Pounder at McD's to the offerings at Burger King or Wendy's but try not to indulge very often due to the high calories I end up with the item, fries and a chocolate shake.

Careful on that. The Impossible product is vegan as produced, but is cooked on the same grill as the meat at BK. I watched them do this and they said I could ask for a separate grill to be used - still not sure if that's a meat grill or a dedicated Impossible grill.

I think they got sued for this so maybe it's changed now. Worth asking if it's important to her.

has anyone noticed that Mc Donalds is advertising all meat quarter pounders? If Macks isn't going for the fake meat, I don't think it's going to go over well.

Cooked on the grill right next to the beef patties.
She is free to think differently, but BK has said right up front they weren't doing this for the "vegan" experience. It does lead to wonder, what experience they are perusing, though.

Not my worry I have seen my save the world daughter ask them how it’s cooked so I’m sure she is eagle eying the grill situation .

Maybe not for anyone? I doubt Vegans are dying for a whopper - that's like people who hate broccoli dying for a food that looks and tastes like broccoli, but is really soy beans.

Got 3 one night when they first came out to eat at work.........as someone else mentioned.......not horrible, just haven't felt the need to.eat another....

.......they're gonna have to find a way to make them taste better than the real thing.....(at bk, shouldn't be too hard to do......1/4 pounder patties at mcd's really are way better than bk these days since they've done away with frozen)
