Here it is Christmas time again. Time for lots more popcorn and popcorn to give away. I cannot find the popcorn recipes in my files. Cannot find the popcorn thread here either. Can't find it anywhere. Can someone please help me?
I am craving popcorn. Tired of my recipes, want to read that thread again, copy the recipes to a file and start making more popcorn.
    Thank you

Popcorn is just an excuse to eat butter and salt, either of which will get you very strange looks if you eat them separately.

Oh man... Popcorn. A food group all unto itself.
Love me some popcorn. Fresh popped kernels, buttered. Salted. By the bucket full. The only reason to go to a theater. Can't get enough popcorn.

That was a while ago, probably lost on a server clean up.

Had a big bowl last night. I have been using plain old vegetable oil for a while, I want to try the extra virgin olive oil/coconut oil mix. I hear it adds a lot of flavor.

    Suggestions?

It was two threads merged into one.

    It was huge.

    It was great.

It was going to make popcorn great again.

When I was a youngster I remember stringing popcorn and cranberries together to put on the Christmas tree. Looking back on it, my guess is one reason it was popular was it kept us busy for a while.

I sat alone at the bar today and enjoyed my meal while doing things on my phone.

There was a gentleman a couple years my senior sitting a couple seats down enjoying a glass of wine with his meal (we both got the special).

The staff would engage him in brief conversation so that told me he was a regular.

I thought to myself, If this was Florida I would ask that man if his name was Bruce.

    True story yo.

Bob's Redmill White popcorn and coconut oil. Little salt and a little butter works for me. Have gotten to where I hate the microwave popcorns.

Look, here's the deal guaranteed. Pour just enough oil in the bottom of a big ole pot to coat the bottom well. This is the important part, put 3 kernels of corn in, no more than that. Wait on those 3 to pop then add more, enough to cover bottom of the pot. Get the lid ready and cover while letting it breath just a bit while it pops. Shake shake shake the pot. Get the salt, butter ready cause you are now ready. Pop a cold beer and thank me later. Your welcome.

My wife loves kettle corn. The only time she gets it is once a year when they have an arts festival at an area state park and a vendor there has it that's insanely addictive.
So is there a store bought version brand that's decent and would satisfy her cravings?
