So i always wanted a Noveske even though i was happy with BCM. A couple weeks ago i found a guy that had a new 14.5" unfired Noveske basic upper for sale so i sold my BCM 14.5" lightweight upper and spent the extra cash for the Noveske. It shoots fine and is accurate but i hate it. After wanting it for so long i am probably gonna sell it and go back to a BCM with a battle comp!

Moral is if your gun works why upgrade?

The weight/balance difference. And that i sold a perfectly good upper with pinned BC and aimpoint to get it. Now i have a nice pricey upper with irons only and a YH brake on it:crying:

To fulfill an unhealthy need to be admired by strangers on internet forums based on an irrelevant quality like material possessions?

For me it wasnt to impress anyone, it was always that piece i wanted but the price tag kept me from it.

I did, it came with an A2 so i threw on the yh till next payday when i can order a BC. I know its not right but had to make 16". I had it i didnt pay for it.

Sounds to me like you did a purchase without enough information. Noveske upper ran well and was accurate. You should have understood the trade off between a lightweight profile and what you were getting with the Noveske.

Did you already permanently attach the YHM onto the Noveske?

It sounds like you miss the aimpoint and the battlecomp from the BCM and perhaps a little bit of weight savings? Perhaps putting the same accessories on the Noveske is likely to give you the "feel" you remember from your previous upper.

It is really a lateral move anyways. You just traded a name for a name. Both rifles are excellent. Don't overthink it all.

Why do you hate the YH over the BC????

I do understand a weight issue.

The YH is no where near is good as a BC. The only similarity is the noise, but the YH directs it back at the shooter where the BC seems to direct it more to the sides.
