You need to get your Rx checked on your glasses.

What a novel concept! Another copy of a copy. Just wait a bit and the Russians will give them all the arms they want, free of charge.

It looks like an AR. Too bad they're moving away from H&K.

    An AR pattern piston gun.
Goofy that they didn’t go with HK or FN.

The complaints about the G36 losing accuracy as it heats up appears as BS to me. This is a FU to H&K from the German.Gov.
(I have a TommyBuilt G36C and it holds accuracy hot or cold).

The weapon that’s been selected is Haenel’s fully automatic AR-15/M4 patterned MK556 in 5.56mm caliber.
Basically it came down to piston ARs

The Haenel the HK416 and the HK 433 (a hybrid AR/G36 in 5.56).

    Jambog.

I will say that H&K may rival Colt in the worst run gun manufacturer in modern times. How ANY gun maker could be losing money over the last several years boggles the mind.

Yeah, that's just another "tricked out" AR. Nothing like this gun.

If you are going to copy an AR, best to go with something like this

It honestly fascinates me how poorly colt is ran. My wife actually did one of her last research paper things when she was getting her MBA on them. Her instructor was honestly dumbfounded with the comedy of errors presented. Iirc she mainly compared them to smith and wesson and how direction and leadership is everything. With their legacy colt should be the #1 however they are a joke that never tries to stay competitive.

I am disappointed. I thought this was a thread about raping and pillaging.

I would be concerned that the company is ultimately owned by UAE.

The AK does resemble the Stg44.

That was my first thought when I read about this earlier in the week.

I have to agree with you on that. The OEM dual optic system sucked. I went with a Trijicon SRS

Personally, I just see another one of the "Zillion" M-16 variants floating around this planet.
