I was able to finally handle a Gen 4 Glock 30 ($629) yesterday. It felt as wide or even wider in my hands than the Glock 30 SF or Glock 30s. That wide slide also made it difficult for me to release the slide (After checking that the gun was empty by removing the mag, checking the chamber, then inserting the empty mag) but it was a NIB gun. I'm hoping that the used Glock 36 that I'm picking up Tuesday, will suit me fine. Otherwise, unless I want to buy (Even more expensive) .45 GAP ammo online for a Glock 39... I'll not be shooting a .45 caliber Glock.
