Trump would not veto everything- only the things he disagrees with. Let’s face it, he would pass so many spending bills we would run up another $10-12 trillion debt over the next 4 years. Maybe a little less than if Biden wins, but not much.

I agree except I would give Congress 4 terms. In a perfect world I would also install mandatory retirement age of 70 on the Supreme Court and no one over 70 could run for Congress or the Presidency.

One has to be realistic, and currently DC is a career, not public service, so 8-12 years from freshman to former is going to be a hard sell. Also, 75 is the new 70... the President will still be sharp as a tack next June when he turns 75.

You’re wrong, and a bunch of people have “liked” your error. The scenario is the President is re-elected. When you don’t know, Google is your friend:
    noun
    1. NORTH AMERICAN
an official (especially the president) in the final period of office, after the election of a successor.
That final period is the one between Election Day and inauguration of the successor, some 11 weeks, short enough for Congress to stymie most of what a lame duck President can do.

I read him to mean "he becomes (as weak as) a lame duck president", not a literal lame duck.

I agree he would be impeached again if Dems hold the House, but according to the Constitution it takes a 2/3 vote in the Senate to convict and even a Dem controlled Senate could not get enough votes to convict.

In the Governor of Pennsylvania cannot, by law, exclude poll watchers.

Certified poll watchers are allowed to observe polling places on Election Day.

What would he have to be impeached for to get 66 Senators to convict? All Congress could do is waste more time.

As they have since the last election. Wasting time is only second to their true talent for wasting money.

I haven't been watching the whole Senate, but I can tell you they won't be taking Mitch McConnell's seat. Last Tuesday his challenger, Amy McGrath, held an event with bands and guest speakers in an 11,000 capacity stadium, in the county where she is strongest (Louisville/Jefferson), and 50 people showed up. No, I didn't leave out any zeros - 50. That is the estimate by the main paper that is cheerleading for her. Prediction: McConnell wins by a landslide - maybe bigger than his 29.4% win over Lois Weinberg in 2002.

Doesn't matter - we'd have the power to veto and the Supreme Court. Congress unable to do anything at all is a good outcome.

There are two in the Bible: the god of this world (II Cor. 4:4) as well as the Almighty - and they each have a plan.

He has sure shown his propensity run at a deficit and spend like a diva. That’s where he has failed miserably.
