This would be the ultimate test of President Trump's willpower and conservative leanings. Regardless of his personal beliefs, I believe the left's utter disdain and vile hatred of President Trump would be enough to motivate him to veto the nonstop flow of garbage that would hit his desk, but I can't be certain.

How confident are you that President Trump would refuse to sign legislation produced by a congress run by the left?

Yesterday Scott Adams predicted that Trump would win handily, but believes the Senate is too close to call. Adams thinks Biden's internal polling shows they have no chance of winning the presidency, but could take the Senate - and his evidence for this is Biden's recent trip to Minnesota and Atlanta. Adams goes on to state other reasons why Trump will win.

I believe - and I said this at least a month ago on this forum - that this is the plan.

The Dems STOLE the House in 2018 with NO REPERCUSSIONS from all the illegal voting antics. They learned from that and will do the SAME THING in the Senate this time.

Will they get enough of a majority to remove Trump from office through impeachment? No. They need a 2/3 majority to remove an impeached president from office and I don't believe they will get that.

They will certainly stop Trump from moving America forward by making changes through Congress.

I can see, however, Trump reverting to the EO and the courts to keep moving America forward and letting the left try to stop him that way.

I also think he will veto everything that he thinks is bad for America and force Congress to override - resulting in nothing happening in Congress other than more hearings keeping Americans in the dark about the Democrat corruption in America.

It won’t be happening, but if it did, Pence is next in line for the job, and the extreme Democrat socialist communist party would probably suffer and enormous lose in four years.

Even if we don't lose the Senate, if we lose only a few seats it will empower the swing vote senators who will get rich by reaching across the aisle;
although Flake and McCain are gone we still have Romney, Collins, Murkowski, Sass, and others who would sell us out for a price.
So EVERY GOP senate seat is valuable, to keep Mitch instead of Schumer in charge.

100% confident he will veto pretty much everything.

He has no concerns about getting re-elected and a constant stream of vetoes will make him a hero to his base.

Schumer has been threatening court packing , eliminate the senate fillibuster, add two states etc.
"Everything is on the table" tantrums.

MAGA voters see this

The MAGA vote will be huge and not as many vote splitters as compared to 2016.

Trump and relublicans have court cases and vote integrity action ongoing too.

Trump says all the time to vote and vote for all the candidates .

I say the Republicans keep control.

But will need a large turnout and fewer split ticket voters .

They don’t need the president in order to pack the courts and admit new states...is that correct?

Congress needs to pass a law to expand the Supreme Court which requires the President's signature or a veto proof majority.

The President appoints judges to all federal courts, the Senate approves.

Democrats are going to cheat like you never seen before, even governors in swing state line Penn are not letting poll watchers in. So the dems can cheat, also a lot of them require a pencil to fill in ballots.
The Demos know they can't win legitimately. The medias and poll takers are all on board. This is why they say Biden is up 8 points or so, that way if the demos win by cheating, the public will not be so suspicious.

The Dems are now showing who they really are vs trying to hide it all these years.

The 1994 gun ban really woke them up, and for years the dems backed off the Nazi gun control laws, Now they believe the media has brainwashed enough ppl to accept how radical they really are. And in a lot of ways, this is true.

Very Divided country now. Even if we win now, it's a matter of time before the democrats win.

Best case scenario is, let California be their own country like they want. That's 55 electoral votes we don't have to worry about. A lot of liberals from around the country will flock there also. Let them have the state of Washington maybe.
Hard to divide a nation, but as it is now, we are to divided politically to ever be happy.

Because once we lose the white house and senate, the GOP party is done. They will pack the courts with EXTREME leftist judges, DC and PR will becomes states, that's 4 more liberal senate seats. Then we will wish we let them have California. but it will be too late.

I think enough Republicans will ride Trump's coattails to keep the Senate and take back the House.
I do so hope you are correct! Trump POTUS is good but he had the senate (for what those POS are worth) with him. Without them I'd expect even Trump would be in the proverbial pickle.

If you want real change in our country we need term limits.
The President of the U.S. is 2 terms.
Congress should get 2 terms and the Senate should get 2 terms.
That would prevent people like Schumer, Pelosi, and others from both parties staying in government for as long as they have.
All Congress cares about is to get re-elected.
