What are your thoughts?
In particular steel vs aluminum?
Peacekeeper RCB, formerly known as Winchester, originally known as Wilmoth. Steel, heavier construction than ASP, most of the weight is in the top half so kinetic energy works for you. The only drawback is that it's heavier, and no one makes a holder for it that is as good as the ones that Monadnock makes for their batons and for ASPs.
Hmm, I like that. I am reading up on it now. Bent an ASP and I have been told I can buy and carry anything I want now...I dont think I want an ASP...but I do want to hear what everyone thinks.
I use a Bonowi EKA51, steel.
dosen't hurt your hand when you beat someone with it.
Didn't we JUST have one of these?
Probably but I didnt see it and I didnt look for it.
Well next you'll want to know:
-What boots to wear.
-Who makes the best vest.
-How to decon from OC exposure
I am good to go on those.
I carry a 26" ASP. There is no particular reason for that, its just what I bought. Its a tool that I dont use very often, but when I have had to use it, it works like it is supposed to
But wicked expensive.
Standard crap ASP in black with rubber grip, 26" of worthless steel.
I went back to the good ole fashioned 29" straight Dymondwood. Gets a lot of attention, more than the gun or anything else for that matter. People come up, ask about the big whacking stick, and leave quiet and respectable.
You're just mad because you can't answer his question with "Safariland".
Saw a few dozen of these in our old store room a few weeks ago. Was told they can no longer be issued except in an emergency such as a riot.
I would really like to have one.
M*********ER!!!!!!! Those are exspensive!
There is a military surplus store here in Oklahoma that about 200 of them, I think the price is around $20
Standard ASP, 16" for plainclothes, 21" for uniform.
