If the only magazine that is legal becomes the ten round magazine, what will Glock do?
Most I have talked with said they would go to the 45acp and eschew the 9mm. Will Glock then come out with a single stack ten round 45 similar to the ten round HK 45 to compete in that market?
    What say you?

Yep but what's worse, the dems will make sure there is no grandfathering in their legislation.

There is nothing wrong (IMHO) with a G-23 .40, in that set up, with a G-27 back up.

If I could only have something to carry with a ten round magazine capacity, that would do it for me.

Let's just do everything we can, to make sure there isn't any reckless legislation introduced, calling for reinstatement, or worse, of the draconian, "Federal Assault Weapons Ban of 1994"!

The proposed legislation I’ve seen in many places goes way beyond the 1994 ban. They’ve learned.

I lost all my high capacity mags on a tragic canoe trip last 4th of July.

I’d probably grab a glock 29 just for fun anyway

If police are inspecting your mags for capacity, then you probably have much bigger problems. Are there places where mags are routinely inspected for compliance?

I was around and had just got into guns in 1994 . I was 21 and BAM ! the "Clinton assault weapon ban" got put in place. I remember buying a Glock 23 , 19 , and 17 all with 10 rd mags . It was terrible. I couldn't even go get a simple AR15. Then when it was gone in 2004 I got me a Bushmaster AR15 and things were awesome ! My Glock 17's were then REAL 17's with their regular magazines .

They do inspect magazines in CA if your ever stopped and they inspect your guns, plus some ranges have reported LE loading the magazine to make sure it only holds 10 rds

a person from the SF, bay area said a policeman tried to confiscate his AR15 and said civilians shouldnt own a gun like this, and was about to try and take it, then the owner showed him his AW registration papers and the policeman had a disgusted look because he couldnt take it away.

Just shoot IDPA or USPSA Production Division, they are all 10 rounds. Practice reloading, that's all.

Glock will just pump out G26s, G27s, G30s, G29s, and the .45 GAP will live.
What Glock should do is put a G19 slide/barrel on a G26 size frame.
I'd also expect a Commander sized 4.25" barrel, 9 round single stack version of the G43...maybe the G49?
Or just carry a brace of G43s. Glock could start selling them in pairs.

GAP is deader than fried chicken no matter what happens. A magazine ban won’t change that. It will never be anything but the botique round it is today.

.40 and .45 ACP will be the big winners in a 10 round cap situation.
