When I was a kid, like 5 or 6 years old we always had JIF. Then for some reason we switched to Skippy. About a dozen years ago my wife came home with JIF again. Voila! We hit the mother lode!

    It's just the best!

My local Wild Oats store, lets you grind your own peanut butter, just like coffee grinders in the store. Its really good and has no additives, obviously.

It tastes different than manufactured peanut butter. Someone told me manufactured peanut butter has tons of sugar in it. I don't have a sugar problem, but I do like Jif smooth and creamy.

I've been eating Maranatha organic, natural peanut-butter for a few years now. It's just ground-up peanuts and sea-salt (Ingredients: 100% Organic Dry Roasted Valencia Peanuts and Natural Sea Salt.)

JIF and Skippy taste, well, fake to me now. Truthfully, they are fake, IMO. Last time I looked both Skippy and JIF were filled with partially-hydrogenated oils.

My dog loved peanut butter. I would dip his meds in it and he would gobble it right up :)

We would use the oil from the MRE peanut butter to lube the M-60--worked better than the CLP we were issued.

When I was a kid, Shedd's (I think that was it)Peanut butter in the 5lb bucket. That and a spoon, and I was in heaven.

Now, JIF-without a doubt the best.
