It is hard to choose between the two I have now: professor and my consulting business.
I have friends who worked in Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services and have told me some of what they saw. What some people do to their family members is horrible.
Equipment and grounds maintenance at a private golf course. Spent as much time as I wanted outside, free golf, beer on the job, fun people to work with.... loved it.

I loved working for Daddy running the TLB during the summers when I was in school. I keep telling him when the phone stops ringing that's what I want to do again. And he says now he only hires operators with degrees in marine biology LOL.
I had no idea there was jumping at OBE. I go there for breakfast or lunch at least once a week.
Being a windowed dad for a little one. Learned all the problems both of my parents faced and what they went through. Deepened my appreciation. I also had fun working and the flexibility to change occupations over the career.

Security supervisor at a major metropolitan hospital. I've been a private investigator for the last 28 years, but if I could make the same kind of money as I do in my current occupation, I would go back to that gig in a second.
