It is hard to choose between the two I have now: professor and my consulting business.

I have friends who worked in Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services and have told me some of what they saw. What some people do to their family members is horrible.

Equipment and grounds maintenance at a private golf course. Spent as much time as I wanted outside, free golf, beer on the job, fun people to work with.... loved it.

    Well four actually:

    One

    VP Engineering where projects included:

    Apache Helicopter Gimbal
    INU Calibration unit for F16's
    AMRAAM Missal components
Periscope for submarines (3600 machining operations)
    Various Hubble parts
    Many parts for Saco Defense
Colt American 2000 prototype (what a mistake)
    Turbine Blades
    Pratt engine titanium blades

    Two (volunteer)

EMT Instructor, trained just over 500 EMT's. The reward was seeing lives being saved by those that we trained.

    Three

Consultant to Tool & Die shops where the Dad was the owner and the kids were taking over. I was the buffer between them.

    Four

    Retired Grandfather

I loved working for Daddy running the TLB during the summers when I was in school. I keep telling him when the phone stops ringing that's what I want to do again. And he says now he only hires operators with degrees in marine biology LOL.

I had no idea there was jumping at OBE. I go there for breakfast or lunch at least once a week.

Being a windowed dad for a little one. Learned all the problems both of my parents faced and what they went through. Deepened my appreciation. I also had fun working and the flexibility to change occupations over the career.

Security supervisor at a major metropolitan hospital. I've been a private investigator for the last 28 years, but if I could make the same kind of money as I do in my current occupation, I would go back to that gig in a second.
