I have a Galco Summer Comfort, but OWB is much more comfortable for me.My Raven Ghost OWB slide conceals quite well too.If you like IWB the Summer Comfort is a good choice.

First you ask "best", then you ask "good". Big difference. How much do you want to spend? Do you have any idea what style you'd prefer? Leather, kydex, hybrid? It's hard to go wrong with Crossbreed if appearance doesn't matter to you.

In that case, forget about the Del Fatti.

I think its a little wide for IWB. I bought a Galco one, its great. I pretty much only carry my G27 around my ankle.

That holster is just shy of $300 (+ the year you have to wait).

I have 2, but for my 1911s. My G27 is usually on my ankle, Galco makes and excellent rig for it.

You may need a few holsters for different types of carry. I have a Bianchi Shadow II for a OWB and a Crossbreed holster for IWB. You will end up with a box of holsters, most of us do. One holster that works for one person may not work for you. Good luck.

Well, with $80 you might want to try Mr. Cooley's goods at Bulldog (see post#2 in this thread). Custom beats mass-produced any day of the week.

I did a seearch a couple days ago on Youtube about "holsters for conceal carry" and it turned up some nice videos... You may want to give it a shot to help see what may appeal to Your needs... I'm in the same boat as You at the moment...

I'm the same size as you and I carry mine in a Milt-Sparks SS-2. It's comfortable enough to wear all day and conceals very well. Just make sure you have a good belt, I us a Wilderness Instructors belt.

carry a 27 in a comptac minotaur everyday.

carried a galco royal guard for a long time before that. I love galco, but the loops on the royal guard were too visible for me. I still carry the 27 in a galco ankle glove quite a bit.

Cross Breed gets very high marks...can't comment yet but it's in the mail...

I have used the Galco Summer Comfort for several years. Great, quick to put on, holster. Fairly stable. It does show two belt straps so an over shirt or vest is in order.

I have a CTAC now and it works but is a little uncomfortable while driving.
