The widespread riots that have ensued after the killing of George Floyd have not only caused irreparable damage to property, but they've taken the lives of at least 17 Americans.

Some of the victims were either former or current law enforcement or innocent bystanders trying to get home or protect their business.

Those who have died so far during the riots:

That's a pretty damn cold thing to say when innocent people are being killed !

The sad irony continues......Killing innocent people of color while protesting the killing of a person of color

If only George Floyd had complied with officers commands and not resisted arrest.

Define innocent for me please. Either we are all "innocent" or none of us are. I'll take the latter: none of "us" are innocent.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. Can you be a little less cryptic ?

O.K. I'll try. Assertion: "Innocent people are being killed." How have you determined their "innocence"? I assume, by the context (situation) in which they were killed. Yes? However, if you remove "them" from the context (situation) are they "innocent"? I don't know and you don't either. "Innocent" dependent on a (temporal) context is a very thin assertion.

I'll leave it with, I made a very intemperate comment. I wish no one was killed. Sorry.

If you read the article I believe it's pretty evident who's innocent and in no way deserved to be killed
